Preschool Workshops (4 - 6 years)

$12 per person

Little Artists (1.5 hours)
Conducted by Art Loft

An age-appropriate workshop allows children to understand contemporary art in a fun way. After a tour of the galleries, there will be a hands-on activity where the pre-schoolers create their own masterpieces using a wide range of art materials.

Young children's curiosity in art will be aroused through storytelling and speech and drama activities. After a tour of the galleries, children will create puppets inspired by the artworks and perform their own puppet show.

Primary School Workshops (7 - 12 years)
$18 per person

Junior Artists (2 hours)
Conducted by Art Loft

Participants will be challenged to explore the concepts in contemporary artworks. They will then be given the opportunity to explore their creative potential through hands-on art-making and working with different materials.

Never-ending stories (1.5 hours)
Conducted by IQ Kidz

This workshop takes a speech and drama approach to art appreciation. Participants will enjoy facilitated discussions about the artworks followed by script-writing exercises to craft their own alternative endings to art-inspired stories. They will then have the opportunity to perform their puppet show to their peers.

Secondary School/Tertiary Institutions Workshops (13 - 18 years)
$28 per person

Young Artists (2 hours)
Conducted by Art Loft

Participants will reflect, interpret and evaluate contemporary works of art using the language of art criticism. The students will then be guided to create artworks based on their interpretations of the works that have impressed them.

Inspired by Art (2 hours)
Conducted by Monsters Under the Bed

This fun writing workshop allows participants to appreciate contemporary art while developing their language and narrative-writing skills. Following active discussion about the artworks in the galleries, participants can choose to base their writing on either the artist's original intentions or their own interpretations.
