The seventh edition of the Singapore Biennale is named Natasha. The act of naming serves as a prompt to artists, collaborators, and audiences to re-discover ways of seeing and relating to the world. Going to Natasha is to embrace the possibility of intimacy and spontaneity afforded by such recognition, as well as to reflect on the transformative potential within life and its relations — from self to others, from human to non-human, from living to non-living and vice versa, and beyond. The artists and collaborators thus become ‘fellow travellers’ in the journey of Natasha, expressed through artistic imagination and research. Featuring over 50 artists and collaborators embarking on a collective journey with Natasha, Singapore Biennale 2022 takes place from 16 October 2022 to 19 March 2023. Join us as we bring you a series of talks, performances and workshops!

In this edition of Youths Take Over, experience fresh and spirited perspectives on the life and persona of Natasha, the name of Singapore Biennale 2022.
Fuel your creativity at this two-day arts festival organised by Arts Business Management students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where you can watch performances, visit ongoing exhibitions and make your own crafts!
Verve is an annual arts festival initiated by students from the Diploma in Arts Business Management programme at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

[STORYTELLING] Storytime with SAM: Sengkang Snoopers #3 The Riddle of the Coral Isle ft Kiran Shah

Join this fun and engaging storytelling session inspired by the book The Riddle of the Coral Isle written by Tan Tarn How, specially commissioned for Singapore Biennale 2022. Explore the world of Lee Su Lin, Su Yang, Bus and Zizi and their faithful parrot, Kuning, as they camp on Big Sister's Island and find themselves in the middle of an adventure involving mysterious boatmen and even a turtle! The storytelling session will be conducted by Kiran Shah. Participants will also get to do a short activity after. Each ticket covers 1 child accompanied by 1 adult, it also comes with 1 copy of The Riddle of the Coral Isle. The book will only be distributed to participants who attend the on-site session.

The sculptural dyad The Hybrid Intermediates – Flourishing Electrophorus Duo (2022) by artist Haegue Yang was conceived specially for the Singapore Biennale 2022. Poised on casters, each life-sized work features sculpted electrical outlets housed in “bodies,” which are topped with colourful gardens of plastic vegetables. These complex and self-insisting sculptures address the actual and metaphorical possibility of movement. Watch this dynamic pair come to life in this live activation.
