Docents are trained guides who conduct public museum tours. They are a vital part of the Singapore Art Museum's success and their contributions have allowed many visitors to gain insight into our exhibitions. To qualify as a museum guide, docents undergo extensive training organised by the museum and our volunteer partners.

The Singapore Art Museum has daily guided tours which are conducted by:

• FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM (SINGAPORE)
Friends of the Museums conduct English and Japanese guided tours on weekdays. This includes the Japanese docents.

Visit http://www.fom.sg to find out more about how to become a museum docent.

• MUSEUM VOLUNTEERS
