Artwork Submission Guidelines:
Indicate “SAM Quarterly Design Submission" on the outside of the package.
All artwork must be identified with the artist's name, mailing address, email, and phone number clearly printed on the artwork itself or on a removable tag or sticker label. Improper identification may render a submission ineligible for consideration.
Indicate if you want your artwork returned; if so, we will hold on to your artwork till after the closing date of the competition, after which you may collect it from our offices for a stipulated period. We will not hold on to artwork after this stipulated period. More information will be provided in March.
If you are submitting electronically, please keep your artwork files under 20MB in file size. If you are shortlisted, we will contact you to request the high resolution file. We accept the following formats: JPEG, PDF, TIFF, AI, EPS, PSD.
You may submit more than one entry.

Terms & Conditions:
This contest is open to all currently residing in Singapore, except employees of Singapore Art Museum, its agencies, their immediate families or anyone else connected with this promotion. No third party entries, bulk entries submitted by agents will be accepted.
The competition will run from 18 January 2017 to 28 February 2017 (23:59pm). All artwork must arrive at our offices on or before this deadline.
All winners will be determined by SAM (whose decision shall be final) on 1 March 2017 after the closing of the entry period and notified on 3 March 2017 via email or phone. Winners will be announced on 3 March 2017, on the SAM Facebook page (www.facebook.com/singaporeartmuseum).
SAM will only accept original artwork for consideration. All images used in artwork must be copyright-free. Any techniques featured in artwork submissions that are not the artist’s own must be attributed to the proper instructor, book, artist, workshop, etc. It is the responsibility of the submitting artist to ensure that no copyright infringement has occurred and that all submitted work is his/her own.
SAM reserves the right to reject submissions at our own discretion. Submissions that contain offensive content (nudity, foul or hateful language, drug references, irrelevant content, copyrighted material etc.) will be rejected.
Owing to the large volume of proposal submissions, we seek your kind understanding that the team will be unable to respond to individual submissions.
It is the responsibility of the artist and/or sender to make sure that any submissions mailed to us comply with all postal and customs regulations. Singapore Art Museum is not responsible for any non-compliant items that are confiscated by governing entities and therefore never reach our offices.
