Patchwork of Times: A Think! Contemporary Primary School Exhibition

Patchwork of Times: A Think! Contemporary Primary School Exhibition

Patchwork of Times: A Think! Contemporary Primary School Exhibition showcases a tapestry of interconnected stories, ideas, and perspectives that unfold through the eyes of curious 10-year-olds. Inspired by the artworks that students encountered at SAM, this exhibition pulls together a wide-ranging exploration of issues past, present, and future, shaped by playfulness and imagination. Discover the thoughts of a young generation as they make sense of their experiences and the world around them through art—piecing together a Patchwork of Times.

This exhibition is the culmination of the 14th edition of the Think! Contemporary programme, presented by Singapore Art Museum (SAM) in partnership with CHIJ Our Lady Queen of Peace, Fern Green Primary School, Geylang Methodist School (Primary), Haig Girls’ School, HFSE International School, Mayflower Primary School, St. Anthony’s Primary School, and Xinghua Primary School.

About Think! Contemporary
Think! Contemporary is a museum-based school programme by SAM that advocates learning through art. In this programme, students are invited to visit the museum to learn about contemporary art. Designed to integrate content from SAM’s exhibitions with school curricula, Think! Contemporary positions artworks from SAM exhibitions as primary educational resources. For Patchwork of Times: A Think! Contemporary Primary School Exhibition, artworks from SAM's exhibitions serve as key references for classroom teaching of Art, Character and Citizenship Education, English, Science, or Social Studies.
