Take a walk down memory lane in this discussion about heritage, nostalgia and gentrification with our panellists, architectural historian Dr Lai Chee Kien, artist-architect Lee Xin Li, and researcher-artist Shawn Chua.

Moderated by the Director of Conservation Management in Urban Redevelopment Authority, Kelvin Ang, this discussion will explore these themes with Singapore’s iconic three “worlds” – Great World, Gay (Happy) World and New World in the 1950s and 1960s – as the starting point.
