Articulation Prize Singapore aims to promote the appreciation and discussion of art among youths

Articulation Prize Singapore

Co-organised by National Gallery Singapore and Singapore Art Museum in conjunction with National Gallery, London, Articulation Prize Singapore aims to promote the appreciation and discussion of art among youths and to develop their confidence and ability to express their opinions and thoughts. Participants will deliver a visual presentation about a work of art, architecture or an artefact of their choice. All full-time students aged 15–19 and based in Singapore are invited to apply.

 

Eligibility Criteria and Registration

This competition is open to all full-time students aged 15–19 and based in Singapore. Interested applicants must register through their respective schools. Register for Discovery Days below:

9–10 October or 23–24 October 2025

Discovery Days

 

Discovery Days is a 2-day programme where students get to develop public speaking and presentation skills, build confidence, sharpen critical analysis skills and original thought through close dialogue and interaction with museum educators and curators.

9 January 2026

Submission of Entries 

 

School to submit video entries to [email protected]. School may choose to hold an internal school heat to shortlist candidates.

5–6 February 2026

Semi-finals

 

Shortlisted candidates will represent their school in the Semi-finals before an adjudicator. All semi-finalists will receive a certificate of participation and special prizes.

27 February 2026

Grand Finals

 

Finalists will present at the Grand Final before a panel of adjudicators and stand a chance to win cash prizes.
