SAM strives to make our museum spaces accessible to all visitors.

 

  • Public toilets are located on every floor; selected toilets also come with diaper-changing facilities  

  • Ramps and wheelchair lifts make it convenient for visitors on wheelchairs or with baby push-prams

  • Coin-operated lockers are available for public use

photography & filming

Visitors

Only still photography for private, non-commercial use as a visitor to the Museum is allowed. The use of flash and tripods are prohibited in the galleries and where there are artworks installed. Video filming is only allowed with authorisation from the SAM.

Weddings

A nominal fee of $155 per hour will be charged for wedding photography. This fee can be paid at the Front Desk on the same day. All wedding photography is limited to 5 pax, including the bride and groom, and areas within the exhibition galleries are not allowed to be photographed. For all other commercial photography requests, please contact us.

Media

News photographers and videographers, producers from the media industry and social media bloggers are requested to submit the following application form, at least 2 weeks in advance. Please note that applications are subject to approval by the museum.
