Assistant Manager, Marketing Communications

Full-time Position

The Assistant Manager (Marketing Communications) will drive internal and external evangelism of SAM branding to build brand affinity and drive visitation among local and international visitors. This role will also plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns for SAM’s changing exhibitions and programmes.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and roll out SAM’s institutional brand campaign to drive significant public awareness and build brand equity for SAM. The scope of work includes but is not limited to agency brief development, creative conceptualisation, content development, project and campaign performance management.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (with a focus on digital and social media engagement) for SAM’s changing exhibitions and programmes, through content marketing across multi-channel platforms to achieve brand awareness and visitorship targets. 
  • Develop and execute media events such as press conferences and familiarisation tours and the development of press releases and media advisories. 
  • Management of media queries and media opportunities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships for the promotion and marketing of SAM, including developing opportunities for cross-marketing and promotional activities with potential and existing partners, media, Singapore Tourism Board and other international marketing-related organisations.
  • Support Programmes, Patronage and Partnership, Curatorial and other key functions with marketing collaterals.
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. PR, Social Media and Media agencies).
  • Manage campaign budget and track campaign effectiveness. 

 



REQUIREMENT:

  • Excellent project management skills and a process-focused approach to task execution
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, including marketing and business communications coursework.

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an integrated marketing-related and/or brand marketing function.

  • Good subject knowledge in the field of marketing, with substantial experience in multi-channel campaign development and execution.

  • Prior proven success in campaign development and execution through content marketing across multi-channel platforms.

  • Prior experience in a creative agency will be advantageous.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisation, and analytical skills and strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a complex and demanding environment with great attention to detail and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Effective project and time management skills.

  • Proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented.
